About Me

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Karis Jesse and I am an aspiring artist out of Lakeland, Florida. I have been making art for as long as I can remember— it’s always been a big part of who I am. What began as a way to create heartfelt gifts for friends and family quickly turned into a true passion for portrait/ pet portrait artwork. Since then, I’ve continued to grow as an artist, allowing me to offer a wider range of custom artwork tailored to each client’s vision. Since I was young, I dreamed of building my own art business, and I am so excited to see that dream finally coming to life.

My vision is to bring joy to others through my personalized artwork. Each portrait is hand-painted digitally on my iPad, allowing me to capture every detail with care and precision. I originally learned how to paint long before digital tools and Apple Pencils, and over time, I've grown to truly enjoy the process of creating art digitally. That said, I still often return to my roots-sketching with pencil on paper, or painting traditionally on canvas -because creating with my hands has always been at the core of my passion. I strive to ensure every client feels seen, valued, and deeply connected to the artwork they receive. Whether it's a portrait of a loved one, a cherished pet, or a special memory, my goal is to create pieces that bring warmth, personality, and lasting beauty into your home- art that will be treasured for years to come.

I am so excited to share that my website is launching soon!!! It’s been a long time in the making, and I’m so excited to finally bring this dream to life. Through my website, you’ll be able to purchase custom portraits and pet portraits, shop original pieces and prints, book me for paint workshops, and more! 🤍 As a full-time student balancing school and work, it hasn’t always been easy to focus on my art. But over the past few months, I’ve made it a priority—because creating art is what I truly feel called to do. I’m passionate about bringing your memories to life through meaningful, custom artwork that you can cherish for so many years to come.
